Adit Marine’s latest innovation incorporates a Fresh Water Flushing system for your Main engines, Gensets and Air Conditioners. This world class, Australian designed and manufactured system uses your onboard fresh water tanks and is controlled by using an app via Bluetooth directly from your phone or tablet. A master push button keypad with indicating LED’s is also available for installation in the engine room to produce a backup fail-safe system. This system is suitable for motors from 650hp and greater.
With everthing controlled by your hand held device, there is no longer any need to run wires from the engine room up to the fly-bridge, through your saloon or cabinets, and no more removing or damaging the Cherrywood or timber interior. All installationis carried out in the engine room space, and where your fresh water tanks are located.
All fresh water supply tubing is 1 1/2″ with motorized valves to each or the items to be flushed including a large motorized valve to the suction side of the fresh water tank. This ensures there is NO possibility of salt water mixing with the fresh water tank. A large volume pump ensures there is no salt water pulled into the system during Fresh Water Flushing while the designated motor is running.
When the selected flush cycle is in function, the vibration mechanism within the Android or Apple phone will activate once the countdown bar reaches the final 10 seconds (iPads and Tablets sound an auditable alarm). This an added warning, informing you that the device being flushed can be shut down to allow the sea strainer to be backed flushed, removing any items picked up and getting fresh water back to the skin fitting to stop the growth of Barnacles inside the cooling system.
The main advantage of this new system is your motors and or auxiliary systems can be Fresh Water Flushed wherever you anchor or dock for any duration, minimizing expensive ongoing maintenance and extending the life of your vessel engineering equipment.
For security reasons, once you have paired the Adit Marine Bluetooth Fresh Water Flushing connection to your preferred device with the supplied unique number, no other device can connect or interrupt your flushing system.
The power of this system allows up to 4 x main engines, 4 x gensets, 4 x air conditioner pumps to be connected and controlled by your phone or tablet.
A standard system consists of 5 x motorized valves, 4 x inlet injection ports, 1 x flow indicator, 1 x high volume water pump (specific one to each vessel), 1 x PLC controller and Deutsch connectors, 1 x Bluetooth controller and Deutsch connector.
A Bluetooth system can also be specially designed for any configuration you wish to suit the demands.
